luvherboi21, you probably think my comment was a direct response to yours, but it was not. I actually wrote that comment without reading anything other than the first post. It's simply ironic that the post above mine was what you wrote. Out of all the women on the planet, Black women have more in common with Black men, than any other women. Black men share with Black women, culture, ethos, and a host of other experiences that non-Blacks are not able to relate to. A Black man saying that a Black woman, whom shares so many similarities with himself is undesirable...is hardly different from saying he finds himself undesirable. This is what I mean by self hatred. There are lots of brothers who date non-Black women and attempt to justify it by saying that the non-Black women are more sophisticated, lady-like, and cultured. At the same time these brothers will assert that Black women(not some, but practically all of them) are volatile, unstable and unladylike, usingshow moree available to create a negative portrait of a Black woman. However...this is just an excuse used to justify self-hatred. Why else go to such an extreme to exclude oneself from dating all Black women? There is a difference between a brother who dates all different ethnicities, and a brother who excludes Black women. To exclude Black women in particular, a Black man has to consciously decide that they are inferior to him. Again, how can one be so superior to one who is so similar to themself? If a Black man does not want to deal with trifling Black women, then he should not date trifling Black women; He should date sophisticated, cultured ones instead. It's not rocket science. Black men who are involved in organizations and clubs are usually outnumbered by the Black women who also participate. These are the sisters who brothers should be going after, but don't. The college educated brother who refuses to date Black women won't use the college educated sister from the National Business Association as an example of Black women, he'll use the highschool drop out as his example. After, all, he needs to convince himself, and others, that there is no such thing as an educated and cultured Black woman. If cultured and educated Black women do exist, then how does he justify his exclusion of Black women? His self hatred would become readily apparent. I've heard sisters and brothers talk about how the reason why they don't date within their own race/ethnic group is because the women/men in their own group are bad/uneducated/rude, ect. However, the reality of the situation is that the ones who complain are specifically dating the most trifling people they can imagine, and are projecting their bad choice of judgment onto all Black men/women. Then these people date outside of their race and are so happy to be dating something different, they fail to realize that they have the exact same problems, but in different flavors. That's why the relationships last just as long, happen just as frequently, and the brothers/sisters who don't date Black are just as unmarried. This isn't happiness, and these Black men have not found their moral fiber. We as men have complete control of who we choose to be with. If we choose to be with women who have weak character, then we have to ask ourselves why we choose to be with these women. It's too easy to blame our poor choices on the women (in this case for being Black), rather than blaming our poor choices on ourselves. It's better to take responsibility for ourselves, then shift the blame on women. If we are never responsible for our own mistakes we will never have any control of them. That is what I meant when I said that Black men who find Black women undesirable have a self hatred complex and usually lack moral fiber.show less
I agree with most of what you say. Everyone in this forum is responsible for what they do or say be it right or wrong. For the ones that don't admit their mistakes, then they are the ones that want to blame everyone else. Each person has to ask themselves why they do what they do? Until they understand themselves and figure out why they do what they do, and are comfortable with it,then they may have something to bring to the relationship to make it work.

I find black women desirable, just feel like around my neck of the woods I am not what the women here are looking for. There have been some nice black women around here that I was interested in yet wouldn't give me the time of day, yet I would see the same woman talking to some fool who looks like and acts like he was crawled out from a rock. I'm just trying to figure it out.
Read my comments!black so-called "women" today don't want a real blackman. Why??!..becuz they'd have to be RESPECTFUL! and how can you be repectful toward anyone else if you don't respect yourself?!..you can't!Think of it this way, if the adverage black "woman" had a real blackman, then that means she can't dress, walk and talk like a hore. And what exciting she can share w/her girl friends? Her girl friends have plenty "exciting things" to talk about, because they date drug dealer, gays, thugs and jail birds. When it comes to black "women", blackmen are to close to the forest to see the trees.

Black men do find Black Women desirable...Black women do find Black Women desirable...Just that a lot of Black Women say they want a Black Man or a Man in rhetoric alone and NOT something they really want...What a lot of women want are men to service them on their terms, their convenience and to be able to dispatch of that man once she tires of him...Nowadays, with the way the world is set up, Not many women want a man that they WOULD really have to submit to and have that man be the leader of the household...That's why Men who major in pleasing women with their pen.is, their money and their "sweet talking words" are the ones who get the black women....Other men that command respect, have goals, are not wimps and are about leading a family will find it hard to get a woman...
