I haven't seen Claudine yet, but that's on my list. I just bought Night Catches Us starring Anthony Mackie and Kerry Washington, but I haven't watched it yet.

I wanted to like Love Jones because I'm a poetry fan, but I thought the two leads, Nia and Larenz, were awful. Isaiah Washington is a much stronger actor.

The fake azz southern accents in Jason's Lyric ruined it for me... but Jada Pinkett's azz and overall beauty (before the plastic surgery) more than makes up for that, I guess.

Boomerang > Coming To America

My favorite love story of all time is actually When Harry Met Sally... it's a love story for guys who hate love stories.

I hear Annie Hall is a classic, but I never got around to it.

I'm still waiting on a really timeless classic black love story, though.

I liked the updated Jude Law version too but that the classic is better.

Closer with Clive Owen, Julia Roberts, Jude Law and Natalie Portman, really good flick.

500 Days of Summer with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Zoe Deschanel, a really good and very realistic of how most relationships turn out for people.
