This has been said before to me...when I was younger...

Overheard it of course because I wasnt driving at the time...lol....

Anyways...

I always thought to myself...'what da problem is?'

Because Cadillac does stuff for the Black community...

As opposed to BMW...

Mercedes Benz...

Which many a negro will break their necks to buy and then claim that 'Cadillac is a poor BM's car'.....never made sense to me...a nice car is a nice car...but why speak down on the Cadillac? Especially when the other brands ain't doing shyt for your cause?

Cadillac just gave out several scholarships over here and across the nation...but locally...I know they gave some money...

Also they recognize several ppl in the community...

Al Sharpton isn't in my community...but nationally, he received his award sponsored by Cadillac I believe...

Anyways...

That is all well and good that Cadillac does things for the community... but I just don't like the car itself. I would never buy one. . To me Cadillac screams gawdy and they are gas guzzlers. They ride smooth, but Cadillac just is not my style of car. I would prefer a Camry over a Cadillac. It seems like every old Cat daddy... that is the kind of car that they drive thinking they still got it. LOL

I really hate those Escalades, they just look straight niccarish to me.

This is only my opinion though....

i like the Escalade and the Denali...

back in the day they were termed a black mans car, but whites are pushing them BIG TIME in the south...

there's a plethora of vehicles i would purchase before i bought a Mercedes...i aint knocking BMW at all...those are some well put together machines...

Funny I was always told Pontiac stood Poor Old Nigga Thinks It's a Cadillac.

To be honest I always thought of the Cadillac as the "Old Person's car" both my grandparents drove Cadillacs which is why I always associate the car with old people. But I understand that Cadillac defined what a luxury car is in the United States which is why they're so popular and pretty much older people can afford him. I'm not going to pretend that I can afford to buy an CTS right now.

But even if I could Cadillac wouldn't be my first choice, an Lexus, Infiniti, BMW, Jaguar would be luxury cars I would buy before I buy an Cadillac.

Unless that's like a McDonalds chicken wrap, I've no idea what a BK chicken wrap is or does, but any forum actin' like crispy chicken can't be good...

People been askin' 'em to fix that bug for years though.

BMW's are pretty schway...

My brother used to drive an M6. Felt like riding in a Bond car. That thing could, from a stand-still hop in front of most cars....

I think it even had steel reinforced beams so the first accident it crushed the other car...

Phew....

and then it was totalled the next time on the freeway....

Heckl if they don't protect the driver though....
