Yes, it's true. There were lightskinned-Blacks All throughout the 1600's - 1800's indeed. Its been verified that Large numbers of free lightskinned-Blacks hated themselves, so much, and loved their White Heritage so much to whereas they owned black slaves in numbers disproportionate to their representation in society. According to the federal census of 1830, free blacks owned more than 10,000 slaves in Louisiana, Maryland, South Carolina, and Virginia. The majority of black slave-owners lived in Louisiana and planted sugar cane.At least now, you all can cease wondering why gv JUSTIN and other lightskinned-racists hate me, so much.
"...The Black Slave OwnersTHE BLACK SLAVE OWNERSBy Joseph E. HollowayThe majority of black slave owners were members of the mulatto class, and in some cases were the sons and daughters of white slave masters. Many of the mulatto slave owners separated themselves from the masses of black people and attempted to establish a caste system based on color, wealth, and free status. According to Martin Delany, the colored community of Charleston City clung to the assumptions of the superiority of white blood and brown skin complexion. These mulattoes of the old free Black elite did not attend church with the dark-skinned blacks of Charleston City. They not only formed congregations which excluded freedmen of dark complexion, but they only married among other mulattoes to keep the color in the family.Large numbers of free Blacks owned black slaves in numbers disproportionate to their representation in society. By 1800 one out of every three free black recorded owning slave property. Between 1820 and 1840 the percentage of slaveholding heads of family ranged from 72.1 to 77.7 percent, however, by 1850 the percentage felt to 42.3 percent...."http://slaverebellion.org/inde x.php?page=the-black-slave-own ers

So are you saying that blacks were just as opportunistic as whites when it came to owning slaves. If they could get away with it the did it.Thanks for sharing this, kinda dispels a lot of pro black myths
Let's not forget our African brothers on the other side of the Atlantic selling negors to the Europeans

Or the facts that slavery existed before the 1600s and definitely not some phenomenon that the Europeans invented. African tribes had their own slaves most of them were prisoners of war or they owed some debt, some were treated fairly and some were tortured.

Nope. That's not what I am saying. I am saying that millions of lightskinned-Blacks, have ancestors who owned Black Slaves. As you and I both know that the only myth here, is now a reality verified as true; lightskinned Blacks can't be, pro-Black.Which explains why you have gv or JUSTIN enraged and in sabotaging-troll mode, whenever an anti-racism thread gets created. Plus this helps explain why Obama has no tolerance for Black-darkies being treated equal as other White-looking minorities in America.
