I'z bloggin' now!  I'z bloggin! 

I am updating this on 3/22/10

As of today I will no longer accept 1-click notes. If you are too lazy to type in an actual note (no stamp required), I probably do not want to talk to you.
I also noticed my page was kind of dull so I will finally upgrade to 2.0 soon. Eventually. One day. I promise. Maybe. Mostly because I keep getting the urge to blog. If you know of a cure, please send it to me. My momma said I talk to much as it is. You can send donations to...oh wrong place...anyway, on with the page.





Greetings All


I am going to put 4 things on this page about me

1) I have 5 children, 4 boys and a BAP (if you have to ask, we probably will not have many conversations).  Actually, I have to correct that.  I have 4 children and a Man-child who is smelling himself.  You would think he would realize you can't live off $100 a week and buckle down and study.  But I digress.  This is supposed to be all about me, so nyah.  I spend every other weekend with the youngest and try to avoid the older ones (or at least hide my wallet from them).

2) I actually do read.  My goal is least 10 books a month but spring time is coming so I will be spending more and more time working (I do home improvement and repairs) and less and less time actually in a book. Except the Good Book.  That one has me on lockdown.

3) Which probably indicates my 3rd topic.  I am extremely active in my church.  Since I am the youth minister, that would probably be a good thing.  Since nobody knows my past like I do, I hope I can keep some of them from doing the same things I did.  Or at least, getting in as deeply as I did.  The name gives a hint but the past will be left there.  Unless you really want to know.  Who knows?  It may actually save somebody. Or, at least cause them to THINK before acting.  If you can accept the consequences of your actions, who am I to judge?  Let He who is without sin cast the first stone. 

4) I am a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated, since May 25, 1988 at 3:45 am.  We started with 3 but I crossed the burning sands So-Low.  Which would not have been too bad except one of the brothers when on to have a 8 year career in the NFL as the starting tackle for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers(Harry Galbreathe I think was his last name(it was 20 years ago, ya no)). I was able to walk across those sands, though.  Not that we ever ever did anything that was not allowed under the Pan-Hellenic Council. Many shout outs to the ladies of Zeta Phi Beta, Incorporated,  and Alpha Kappa Alpha, Incorporated, for hiding me, feeding me, and washing my dirty draws those 4 weeks, 5 days, 15 minutes and 20 seconds. Kind of amazing what you can remember when you start to think about it. 

Ok. I lied. I'm going to add a couple of small things:  I do not listen to most hip hop, watch most reality tv shows(except on HGTV and the History channel, could not tell you who the last rapper/actor/musician was who got shot and am not interested in that to be honest. 

As you can probably tell, I do not take myself too seriously but do enjoy talking.  so, if you see something that piques your interest or even want to rip into me about, send me a note, message, email, invite, smoke signal, pony express.  I promise I will respond. You might even tell me to shut up occasionally.  I talk a lot.
