Hello. Thanks to all who have come to visit my page. I am fairly new to blackplanet. I am an independent woman who is checking out the scene on bp. That is my motto...we need more independent females in this world so we can realize the strength that we have as women. My name is Alisha. I am 26 years old. I am recently single. My Zodiac sign is a SCORPIO.....we are considered highly passionate, imaginative, determined, persevering, inflexible and self-confident. I think that's a pretty in depth description of myself :-) Some of my hobbies....I like to read, shop, travel when I have the funds, workout, watch movies, go to Church, go out to eat, cook (sometimes...LOL), bowl, listen to music, go to parks, and spend time with my family and friends. I am very family oriented. I am so grateful to my parents for being there for me through the good and bad times. I would like to stress the importance of voting this election. People do not understand how valuable it is to get out and exercise your vote on November 4, 2008. So many aspects of life are on the line through our next President.
