I'm Mexican, I'm a veteran and an (artist...). I grew up in the south. Love it or leave it I call it home.

My mom still calls me "Chino".

I love women, Bob Marley, Biggie, Pun and anything interesting enough to look at twice.

I was a soldier, broke college student, tattoo artist, sign maker and I am now a designer.

I want to spend the rest of my life expressing myself with my God given talent. I am starting to day dream about drawing and creating new pieces of artwork for my portfolio and not do much else. I hope to get a company off of the ground this year to pay for all of those lofty ideas in my head. I grew up very poor and in a pretty tough area but I don't think that should ever be an excuse for not succeeding. So I won't "ghetto" up this chance to connect to the world and betray my intelligence. I am usually pretty calm and collected with a "seriously-humorous side". I like to make people laugh and inspire by teaching and leading by example. I don't believe my outward appearance (e.g. skin color, style of dress and my swagger) should close the rest of the world off to who I really am. I am not quick to judge people so I would expect the same from others. That being said, I can talk and get along with almost anybody. (Maybe it's cuz I'm so damn cool.)

I am also hoping to connect with somebody to hold a special place in my life...but there is no rush. Preferably a gorgeous, intelligent and kind hearted woman. Race isn't really an issue, although, I have only dated black or mixed women in the past. I love women with foreign accents and sophisticated tastes in music and culture. I am an eclectic person and I enjoy learning about the differences and similarities in people. So if you are interested in talking to somebody that can be funny, serious and a good shoulder to lean on, hit me up.

Like I said earlier, I like to draw and I aspire to be an illustrator when I grow up. So part of the reason I am actually here is to connect with other artists and try to gain a sense of community in the area. The arts aren't a heavy focus here and the sparse cultural centers are very traditional. SO if you want to connect or share your artwork, check my blog.
