I try and live all aspects of my life the same way I look for and listen to music - with open ears, open eyes and most importantly an open mind.

I was born and raised in Vancouver, moved to Toronto about 6 months ago - still learning my way around this city. I'm looking for friendship but I hope I would have the good sense to recognize, appreciate and cherish a good man when he comes along.

If you are on here just looking for sexual encounters then I'm not the one for you so please don't waste my time.

I believe stongly in honesty and action - basically don't step to me if you can't come correct. I'm old fashioned and expect to be treated with chivalry and respect.

My life basically revolves around music, all genres. Jazz, hiphop, breakbeat, triphop, afro beat, dancehall, reggae, rock, alternative, world, latin, funk, soul, blues..old and new...I love it all! My pet peeve is people who get stuck on one or two types of music. Open your mind, explore...there is so much more out there then what's on your radio. I collect vinyl and dj and would love to meet someone who loves to go dig as much as I do and someone who is down to check out some hiphop shows/events with me. I love my b-boys & girls, dj's and writers! My other passion is track and field.

I like nice things in life, just like the next person, however not to the point where materials subjugate my humanity. Those who dwell upon the materials that they have in life are a turn off to me. I do not wear fur, I do not wear diamonds, I do not drive a hummer etc. and never will because I don't need these things to feel valuable. I strive to live a comfortable life not a lavish one.

The people I cherish and try to surround myself with are those who are loyal, unconventional, artistic, creative, eclectic, honest, spiritual, humane, and have a great sense of humor.

Dreams: Enjoying life to the fullest - too long I was asleep...

Books: Autobiographies, Biographies, anything Steinbeck or Hemingway, Anything that I can laugh or learn from.

Music: Huge ol' skool fan - all genres- particularly HipHop and Funk - you can find me in record stores, thrift stores and garage sales diggin' for gems

Movies: I love comedies, drama, scary, old school gangster movies like Godfather and Scarface, Kung fu flix, pretty much anything except sappy girlie movies.

Sports: Track & Field, Martial Arts, Yoga

Interests: Music, Track and Field (biomechanics), People and their complexities, Building - mentally/ physically and spiritually, art - expression, meeting new people and experiencing new places.
