Detroit, Michigan is my hood. Where the crime rates are bad and the cops are no good. Where children are born and get shot dead in the street, where the crack houses out number churches and the drug dealers cant be beat. This is my hood. Where the corner store is like a club where everybody likes to hang, where boys as lil as 9 years old call themselves in a gang. Where theres a liquor store and memorial spot on every other corner, where even the girls carry burners. This is my hood. Where girls lose there first loves and children loose fathers and no one trys to investigate murders they dont even bother. Where Swanson Funeral home is a place everyone has been and our neighborhood drink is that almighty gin. This is my hood. Where when they say throw up your set we throw up our middle finger, where everybody has a blade icewood ringer. Where the memorial day parade is always too hype and every year you can expect a fight. This is my hood n ohh how I love it so, This is where I grew up this is all I know. !!!My main one!!!!
