PHILLY TO NC---BEEN HERE 2 YEARS, BUT MY HEART IS STILL IN PHILLY OR WHAT'S LEFT OF IT ------------------------------ ------------------------------ ------------------------------ ----------------------------- It's hard to forget that Funeral Home smell, but it has became the well-known fragrance in Philadelphia. HOMICIDE was the cause of many of my friends being lost and it's happening everyday to the residents of Philadelphia. Life is too precious to just throw it away. June 21, 2007 Bruce Burman, 23, Sean White, 19 and Bobby Lundy, 25 were killed this morning--possibly a drive-by shooting--- Gerber has a life insurance plan for ages 1-25-----everyone in the area should invest in one--this is real sad WE AS A COMMUNITY NEED TO STEP UP AND DEFEND OUR RIGHT TO LIVE IN PEACE-- check this link out--some of my Bmore buddies put this together. We used to do that! Whoever won the fight had to help up the person they beat. We may have gotten black eyes and scarred faces, but we lived to see another day. There was honor in that. In these days, the knuckles are not used to fight, but to pull the trigger. Bullets don't have a reverse mode people--once it's fired--it moves forward to the selected/unfortunate target. What I really believe is that these wanna-be thugs can't handle themselves with their fists--they cant fight so they get a gun to substitute for their lack of confidence in themselves, then they pull the trigger/kill someone's son/then become some inmate's Susan--sounds bad-but it's the God fearing truth! COME ON LITTLE BOYS --BECOME MEN--IT's OK TO TAKE A BUTT WHOOPIN--IT MAKES YOU STRONGER--BUT YOU LIVE TO FIGHT ANOTHER DAY ------------------------------ ------------------------------ ------------------------------ ------------------------------ May 22, 2007 Philadelphia is a war zone. 7 people were murdered over the weekend. 17 year old Reginald Ford was killed in North Philadelphia. He was killed on the same block 15th & York which his brother was killed 8 months ago. Death is becoming our children's school teacher. The question is always---WHY? -- We need to stop killing our own people!!!! We need to learn to love and then teach others to love. -- Please take some time and reflect on what we have lost. Deamonte Driver 12, died from a toothache due to lack of healthcare. An $80 tooth extraction would have prevented his life from being taken away. $80 for a precious life that was priceless!!!! George Bush is spending billions of dollars in Iraq, but 70% of black children in America do not have healthcare--there is definitely something wrong with that picture. How can WE let this happen to our children? Unfortunately, there is a video (which is on a link on my page {the horrible video}) that a Philadelphia News helicopter took of one of my best friends laying in the street dying. He was shot by police. He was handcuffed like an animal with 12 bullet wounds to his chest--yeah he died. Please don't end up like this...I posted this video because reality opens peoples eyes---this video may save a few lives. STAY FREE - STAY ALIVE!
