Hmmm let's see Bp wants to know something about me...... I'm 26, I'm Stronger, I'm Wiser, I'm Better. Today is Nov 5, 2008 on yesterday Nov 4, 2008 I just witnessed one of the biggest turning points in the history of mankind for the obvious reasons, but mostly for the not so obvious. Yes it is wonderful that a person of racial difference has managed to overcome the racial barriers presented in these crutial times. However as a Christian you "see things differently". The Times of the World is changing and along with that people are too. God always know what it take in the times that he created to capture a few or move many.
The world as we know it has never been in a more horrific state than it is now. There are so many people out there that choose to ignore the facts that whether we see it or not in our lifetime, "The End" is nearing. So what would it take to start changing the minds and hearts of so many lost souls. Something to help them to find "Their Way". So many of us can't see where we are supposed to be in life simply because of "Blocked Vision(s)". How Do You See With Your Vision Blocked ?
One answer is "Drastic Change" in direct relation with a person. A change in Something, Someone, or a Specific Event that changes so fast it almost seems instant right before a person(s) eyes so that it causes or forces change in that person or that of perspective views. Sometimes God will use one person to make an example of for many. Quick example the "Presidential Election", this World has been culturally divided since the beging of times, Yet a man of "Racial Difference" has managed to bring together in unity a vast number of racial differences. In doing so he forced millions to examine themselves and change some opinions they may have had towards racial difference or even in themselves. They may have had a friend that has also shared with them some problems with racial difference and now they both have now gained a a new perspective. Sometimes people have to see "The Proof of Actions" of others before they then begin to change or to question their own whether positive or negative. For many people Seeing...... is Believeing. Levels of faith differ from person to person. What sets many of us apart is the "Pursuit of Happiness" if I am correct the Bible states "Blessed Are Those That Believe Without Seeing".
I look back on today...this time last year man, I was out there simply "Doing Me" and with no intentions of honestly slowing down. However, what i didn't know is that was on Nov 17, 2007 God himself had "Set in Motion" my "Drastic Change" on this morning I left work as usual doing the usual when my normal routine "Changed". I was involved in a accident which the outcome could have been devestating, resulting in serious injury or even death. Sadly to say that on that day and days after, I still was blind but now I see. I never once in that brief time stopped to ask myself........... what if. Following the incident there were as a result a series of "Events" that I almost felt forced me to my knees, and there began my prayer life. Even though I had started to pray I often staggered in them a few days here and a day or two there.
There was one weekend in January-February my mom had gone to church that Sunday morning and I was at work I got off that evening and she had already left to return to the night service. I didn't see my mom on that sunday I was asleep when she returned home. I awoke the next day and she was at work so it wasn't unil that Monday evening when I did see my mom. My mom came home and she came to my room telling me that she wants the million dollars that I have for her. Now by this time you could just imagine the........look...on....my.... face, the way she said it was as if she thought or knew that I had it! So I then stop what I was doing and asked her just what was she talking about. So she began to explain to me that our Apostle gave to her a Prophecy from God that she had given birth to Millionaires. See this is the third or fouth time from very different individualls, that I have received word from God that I am to be a Millionaire. So its Feb-Mar and now God delivers a heart felt word into my life. One Sunday night god send a message through the Apostle and tell me that there is a calling on my life, that I am to reach out to and be an inspiration many both young and old.
So now given my struggle, my standings, things, events, current actions and things surrounding me I began to pray more and focus on it. So as the months go on Mar, Apr, May, and my prayer life increases im now being forced to examine myself and question my actions. "Do I deserve to be blessed beyond measures? Would if I in fact became a Millionaire be able to maintain my stability or would I loose myself in it? Could I properly manage this large amount of money or would I as so many others have, spend it foolishly and be back at square one. All of these thing came to me the more I prayed. Through my constant prayers is how I learned how and what to pray for. Many time a blessing is just around the corner we just simply need to know how to ask and be in position to receive. Just like football you can be the best receiver on the team, however if you are in a compromising position the Quarterback won't give you the ball, he'll do it himself give the ball to someone else.
So now its around Jun-Jul-Aug we have just had an awesome conference to end Jul now its I believe Aug one tuesday night the Apostle Lloyd Benson Sr at my church " Cathedral World Worship Center" is preaching on "Gods Economy" and man im absoulutely all ears this message and ones following was like a personal conversation. It was absolutely everything that over the past few months I had prayed that answers be given to shed light on some things that were very troubling to me in my life. So with that I my prayer life seem to go into overdrive not only praying but fasting what seemed like to be every week for at least a day or two.
So now its around Sep-Oct and throughout this time I began to notice that alot things had changed about myself, there were alot of things that I use to want and do, I absolutely had no desire for anymore, some of the people in my life cut loose all sorts of things. Some things stood out more that others like the seemingly unrealistic control over fleshly desires. There is one day in Oct that would stand out though and that was Oct 12, 2008 that was a day I had been looking forward too over the last month or two. "Communion Sunday" see I knew that that was all I need to completely wash away my past. I had never felt more deserving of it than on that day. Service was wonderful and the "Communion" did it purpose, and on that night God put me in front to serve as an example just as I had asked. I sat and the front row with absolutely no desires to ever go to the back again. On that night the Apostle touched my head and stated that he "felt a release coming"! All of these things were conformation of prayers to me. So as of right now no! I am not a millionaire at least not by proof but by faith I have an overwhelming abundance. Is it coming?.......Of Course! God has showed me the way and its only a matter of time. How do i know?........ "His Promise" is enough however I have faith and conformation to stand on.
I can stand up today facing forward today with confidence in knowing that my struggles were for many purposes, to build spirit, character, and ensure that my whats behind my cannot interfer with what lies ahead. To be able to stoop to a level low enough to help another fallen one, while carefully ensuring that while helping another I my self don't fall in the process.
