Hello Black Planet, I a 28 year old female who is new to
Blackplanet. I am not looking for a relationship;I am recently just out of a long relationship and right now I am just trying to breathe a little on my own.
I am looking for friends. I am interested in networking
and promoting my work. I am a southern, stay at home type of gal.
My main objective is to promote myself in the field that i desire
to be in. This field is writing. I write a lot of poetry and I am
currently working on a novel. I thought that i would share with
everyone a little sample of my work. Here is one of my many poems
that i wrote months ago titled: The Past. The past is just
that..the past.. best to be kept that way locked and bound in a
sacred diary, only to be pondered over when wanting to revist only
fond memories. Remembering what once was good between you and that
special someone. Almost like a fairy tale. Realizing you are
leaving the bad sour moments out. Only because you want all your
memories to be sweet. To make you feel better about yourself and
someone else. Looking at your past as if it's in a glass vase,
feeling like your present life is dull,dour, and leaving you
feeling unfulfilled. Fantasizing about how your life used to be
missing that certain feeling...that smell...that taste...him or
her. Wondering if the grass would be greener,but coming to the
conclusion that, going back in your past will leave you feeling
that the reason you've made it to the present is that you were
intelligent enough to get past your mistakes and move forward to
something better.
