Hello everyone. As a new year is upon us I decided to start anew and update things here.

I am Temitope. It means "enough to give thanks" and I have truly realized that I should give thanks to God for all he has done in my life, the good and the bad, for He has seen me through it all. I will thank Him from now on in all my pursuits and prove to Him that he is truly a blessing in my life. The journey that we take in life is a difficult one, and as I make this journey I know I cannot do it without my God. So as I travel on I will try to keep my Lord with me for I am nothing and can do nothing without Him. I may not be a perfect Christian, but as my relationship with Him gets stronger I see my potential in Christ and see all that He has in store for me. With Him I can fulfill all the goals He has in store for me, and overcome all the obstacles along the way. I don't know about your God, but my God is an awesome God.

To continue on about myself...I am Nigerian. Although the title may come with some negative connotation recently, I carry it with pride for it is who I am, and I am proud of myslef in every walk of life. My culture is indeed a great one. I am from New England, Rhode Island, to be more specific, and go to school in DC. I am a chemistry major, currently in my last year of school! I have hopes of going in to the medical field. My dream is to become a doctor, but where the Lord takes me I will go (hopefully its medicine though (-:). I am an easygoing/ laidback person. I am very easy to please. As long as Im in the company of good people I am fine, regardless how "boring" it may seem, although an active, fun-filled night (of whatever) would be nice. I'm a little quiet at first (I am trying to work on that), but once I am comfortable you can't shut me up. I am a nice person and go out of my way to help the people I care about. This does not mean you can walk all over me though because I can be a mean girl if you cross me.
