MY ANGEL

Sometimes a person can feel so alone

and an emptiness that begins to grow takes control.

Like a sky without stars

I feel incomplete.

For my light has gone

and I feel dark and gloomy.

Like a flower without the sun and rain

I feel as if I am about to wither.

For my angel that was sent here

to guide me is gone.

He has come and given me the nuturing and guidance I needed

and has turned me into a person he thinks worthy.

But while doing the work of his FATHER

he became weak and weary

and though hurt he wanted to stay so he could be here.

But his FATHER decided that it was time

for his angel to come home

and relax from his journey

so his wings could mend.

So let us rejoice

for the reunion of FATHER and son

and pray someday...we too will meet our FATHER.
