A little about me...
I am a 2011 graduate of Norfolk State University with my BS degree in Optical Engineering and a minor in Applied Mathematics. I am currently seeking my Master's Degree in Biblical Counseling at Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY. With that being said, I am very down to earth, approachable, and love to have FUN!!! I'm not that guy that's ALWAYS being religious/superficial. I have a real relationship with God, but I also have a real life... and they are cohesive and do not conflict. I am a product of grace and will NOT deny that same grace to anyone else. On a lighter note, I love to make people laugh and smile!!! If I can't make you smile AND laugh, then I'm probably not a good match for you LOL. Most people ask me, "You seem like an ideal guy... No kids, good head on your shoulders, in school, look good, knows what he wants out of life, kind-hearted, etc... why don't you have a girlfriend/wife?" My answer: I honestly feel like I would be a great match for anyone, however, not everyone is a great match for me. This is no attempt at being conceited because I have flaws that I do NOT mind talking about, but I just do not feel that I have found the one that compliments me properly (no disrespect to any past relationships).
About the one I'm looking for...
I MEAN NO DISRESPECT BUT I AM NOT LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHOSE HEART IS STILL BLEEDING FROM THE BULLET OF PAST PAIN! I understand the fragile nature and respect it fully, but I am not that guy who will jump through hoops and more, just to get past one fence and run into another. Also, I am not looking for someone whole, but someone broken. I say that because I do not believe the perfect person is found, but built. I believe that a relationship is not God giving us a "perfect" person, but rather us helping God to chisel our desire into what we want while they do the same for us, in a way in which He gets His glory. So yea, I am not asking for a perfect woman, but I am asking for a rose...meaning that you are beautiful but it's deeper than the skin because your true beauty stems from being rooted in HIM!!! Understand that I give my all in anything that I do, and so I expect no less from the queen who will compliment me. I share in the sentiments of Maya Angelou when she said, "A woman's heart should be so hidden in God, that a man must seek Him to find her."
