This group has a formal moderating staff which is chaired by Chief Moderator Bernascute. We have other moderators and I will post their names once the staff is all coordinated.


Rules for A MIND ONCE STRETCHED:

1. Respect goes both ways. If you feel you have been disrespected, openly address the individual, or write a note to a moderator explaining the disrespect. We are all adults. Writing in ALL CAPS is equal to shouting at someone. If you ALL CAP one word to make a point, there is no problem. But when the majority of your post is in all caps, you are shouting and violating this rule.


2. Members who join with no picture for their profile will be banned. We don?t want shadow individuals here who are only here to cause trouble. A picture is a graphical representation of the member. There are exceptions for those with images but a blank thumbnail is a no go. If you can?t keep it real, you can?t keep it here.


3. Racial slurs will not be tolerated. You may not even get a warning if it is flagrant.


4. No topic is too taboo for AMOS. Sex, relationships, religion, racism, poverty, hip-hop, etc? Again, see rule #1 as you create topics.


5. Spam will be deleted without exception. YES! SPAM BUSTERS is here.


6. When in doubt about a rule, just see rule #1.


7. No jack-assery which takes us back to rule #1.

8. FACTS are FACTS! If you post an opinion piece, please make sure you know it is opinion. If you are making declarative statements, please provide sources to support your claim.

9. Threads that provide links to articles that provide no comments or context will be deleted and that member will be warned.
