Should the United States of America Apologize for the atrocities and oppression of enslaving blacks from Africa? Though the perpetrators of the holocaust of black enslavement have long been dead, are the effects the enslavement of blacks in the USA a continuing trauma? Are the descendents of the perpetrators of the enslavement of blacks in the USA (the overwelming majority who are white) still benefiting from the advantage gained by their ancestors and their colleagues? Since the USA has paid and continues to pay reparations for injury to other individuals and nations...should the USA pay reparations for the injury caused to enslaved blacks and their descendents? Keep in mind - The USA has paid reparations to Scores of NATIVE AMERICAN tripes and nations for stealing their land and breaking treaties - Thousands of JAPANESE Americans and their descendents for hold them in concentration camps during WWII - AND THE LIST GOES ON... SO WHAT DO YOU THINK? PLEASE SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS...
