Greetings. Welcome to DOBA Cultural Reading Arts. This group was created to bring together adults who are parents, child caregivers, teachers, tutors, group leaders, and/or college students who work with preschoolers, schoolagers, and young and older adolescents inside and outside of a classroom and/or learning environment.. Reading since the age of 3 years old, I remember there always being books and magazines around, Divine Gifts ! My Eya who was my first teacher in the home of course read to me as a baby, toddler, and preschooler. Yes, Dr. Seuss was there. I remember having a big yellow book called "Alice In The Looking Glass". Another favorite book was called "Fox In The House" with real photographs. This group was also created to allow us to get in touch with our "Inner Child". Just like Television, Music, Movies, Video Games, and Internet sites are previewed, Children's and teens books should be also. In my Research a few years ago, I came across some information stating that, the age of a young adult reader is 9 years old? Every Author who writes a children's book is not always qualified to do so. Just as the saying goes "You Are What You Eat". It is possible that "You Are What You Read" (L.P.). Thank You JAH Bless
