This group is a platform for African Americans to engage in open and honest discussions without censoring the "ugly truths" that have not uplifted, but contributed to the decay of black relationships, family, and community. You have to discuss the problems in detail in order to provide real solutions. If you are either overly negative or excessively positive this is not the group for you. The overly negative perceive no solutions. The excessively positive refuse to face raw reality and are comfortable in a state of blissful denial. They tend not to believe in accountability, specifically when it applies to self. If you are unable to be objective when solutions are presented because it means that you should change your way of thinking and behavior and respond by engaging in name calling because you cannot provide a counter argument of substance, this is not the group for you. If you hide behind wrong behavior by carrying the banner "only God can judge me" or "who made you judge" you are not mature enough for true reflection. This group is only for the truly honest at heart that can engage in open and honest discussions even when it hits home and hurts. I welcome such ones with enthusiasm. LET"S UPLIFT!
