Hey everyone, QUEENQHAOS here with a topic I'm hoping will generate a lot of discussion: YOUNG MOTHERS, FATHERS, & TEENAGE PREGNANCY.
Now, I don't have kids so I've got an ouside-looking-in perspective on this matter but I would like to know a few things.
Why have a child young?
How do you care for your child/children on a day-to-day basis?
How do you personally feel about being a young parent or having had a child young?
What kinds of criticism have you received (if any) and how did you take it?
Would you have waited a little longer if you could do it over again? Why or why not?
Are you receiving any kind of help (family, friends, or government assistance)?
I know these are very personal questions but please, don't be shy about it. I'm not here to judge anyone I'm just curious and I'm doing a study. I want you to be heard because I know that people (on the outside looking in) are very quick to pass judgement and don't even care for a reason as to why things are the way they are.
And yes, I have chosen this as a research topic that I'm hoping to get published so feel free to shoot me a note if you're not comfortable posting things here - I'll use alias for my publication and no identifying info will be released.
Thanks in advance!
