Hello Black Planet, I'm Greg "GMoney" Cuffee) and I want to welcome you to the "GMoney Lounge" where you can come chill, kick back a bit, check out some cool tunes, view picts, blogs postings and just enjoy yourself in  the "GMoney zone".

The main aspect of my life, is music which I work very hard at, and very serious about. For those of you new to me, I'm a up-and-comming jazz artist in the jazz-funk, urban jazz or AC contemporary catagory. Im a bassist/keyboardist/composer/a rranger and producer. Currently i have 2 jazz-funk CD's on the market, 'Just Kickin It" (my debut CD) and "Back On The Grind" (released December 2009). Both albums are distributed domestically and internationally thru CD Baby, and can also be found on iTunes, Rhapsody, Amazon and most leading online music retailers. My 3rd upcoming album release "Rush Hour" ( you can here the track on the music player here on this page, and the CD/mp3 album cover above )is due to be released Friday September 2nd, on CD Baby, and Monday September 5th on iTunes.  Also I'm working on forming  my jazz-funk band to be called "The GMoney Project" during 2011. My musical mission: to bring jazz and all of it's varied forms, back to popularity here in the US (as it once was on the 70's) and to expose the genere to a younger and wider audience. Im my "form' of jazz-funk, I incorporate elements from currently popular music (ie; hip-hop, pop, Latin, R&B and dance) and incorporate that with a funky bassline and jazz elements (saxes, trumpets and jazz vocals) into what is seemengly becomming a very popular style of music, enjoyed by people of all ages, nationalities and ethnic backgrounds. When I'm not in the studio and/or on the road on a gig, one can find me involved with my other passion and my sport: cycling, and I can be either on the West Side Bike path in Manhattan or Central Park, upstate or in New Jersey on some mountian bike path.  I also love to cook, grill, going to museums, art galleries, shows and plays, hanging out with friends and "people watch", dining out, walks in the park and long drives, (yes ladies I'm a bit of the romantic type of guy). I think I'm  a pretty cool, down to earth and drama free guy to hang out with. I'm deeply spiritual and lead my life in this manner.
