they told me there aint no

hope for my future and that

im stupid but still i rise and

look em straight in the eyes

and say my life can be anything

i want it to be,you cant take my

prideaway from me. they try to stop me from doing what i like to do.

but still i rise and look em straight in

the eyes and said ,"I have a dream,an

im going to follow through.

they told me i aint going to be nothing

and that i was a failure.

but still i rise like sun in my blue skies.

and said everything that you told me was a rotten

dirty lie. but no matter how hard you try

you still cant take away away my pride.

when i look out my window i feel free

it takes me to a place that...i believesill never be.

Im so afraid ill never see you again.

i dont know whats going to happen to you while im in here.

thats why i look out my night an day because.

it make me believe

that one day i will be free.

i look at the sun and i see a new day;for you and me.

i think my window right here and now is right where it should be.

between you and me and the lord above

i...i wish i was free to be, the person god wanted me to be.

i know i need help

but why me

i wish could be a bird,

fly sing and be free all day long

Damn, i was free once,

but not no more

i just dont care no more

rain is daily crying is making me feel grey inside.

when i became free one day, ill know the wait was more

worth while
