Music production with a flair...... My goal is to make the world sound better.

Government name: Sedrick Demond Hudgins also known as L.I.T. (Life In the Trenches) was born on March 28th 1974. When L.I.T. was younger he was surrounded by old soulful music while his mother cleaned the house. This in itself helped him hone his ear for music. He would question his mother and father about the music then read the record to get a better understanding of what he was listening too. From listening he had acquired a thirst for music; composing and just being a part of it. He grew up in the 4th Ward part of Houston, TX. He graduated from Barbara Jordan High School of Careers. At the age of 11 L.I.T. would hang out at all times of the night with his friends who turned his ear to Hip Hop music. From then on there was a love affair between the two. Even though he would he hung in the city streets he always came back to the music. Around the age of 15 L.I.T. started rhyming with some of his friends. He became quite good but he wanted to make his own music. So, he hooked up with his cousin, MIKE C, who was a local DJ and became a roadie of sorts. During this period he learned how to mix records, how to work a crowd, and how the drums of the music made people feel. L.I.T. got his first break from working behind the scenes with OG style, Mista DRED, Rico, and also with a few local acts after that. L.I.T. is an experienced music producer recently working with Lil Niqo and Murdock out of San Diego, Mr. V.I.P. to name a few. He has so many influences but to name a small amount first would have to be Scarface out of Houston, Dr. Dre, Kwame, James Brown, Jimmy Hendrix, the Beatles, Muddy Waters, Yani, and Patti Labelle for her ability to make her voice the main instrument.
