Hello to all and thank you very much for visitng my personal space
here on the web.
A little about me: I am a southern native who has been residing in the Washington DC area since May 1999. I work for a federal government agency in Washington as a writer/researcher and has ambitions of going to grad school and pursuing a masters in the Humanities or Social Science. I graduated from college with a degree in History. You might say why History because I like to read and write and majoring in that area gave me the chance to do both. I am single with no children and I am 34 years old. A lot of people say that I am a rare find. I do wish some nice attractive woman would take me off the market because its lonely out here....LOL Bu tI will try to be patient and see but sometimes it can be a challenge. My friends and family describe me as being: Nice Respectable Warm Friendly Caring Talkative Loving I was born October 10, 1973 at 1:21p.m. in Long Beach, CA. I am the oldest of 2 children (a younger sister followed me seven years later) I am very grateful for the things I have accomplished in my life and for the adversity I have faced during my life which has made me stronger and more equipped to handle the curveballs life throw at you. I played football and baseball in high school. I played quarterback/safety in high school and was a outfielder in baseball. Was pretty good at both sports growing up. Played football in college until I hurt my back and found out I had a thin spinal column which forced me to give up playing football because one hard hit could be disastrous and that was too much of a risk to take because there is more to life than football. That is why education is important because it cannot be taken away from you once you obtain it. In terms of football, I might play for fun in the park or toss a football around but for the most part, I am content watching it on TV or in person whether its high school, college, or pro. Growing up in football mad areas such as Texas and Louisiana where they take it seriously, gave me a insight on what its like behind the scenes. For the most part, I spend my free time travelling, reading, movies, dining, cultural events, church, etc. I would like to thank you for visitng my space here and please sign the guestbook on the way out. Peace and Blessings friends (182)favorite pages |

Being in Washington DC, you are exposed to a lot of things and one thing that you are exposed to n this city is diversity. You can go to any restaurant, sporting event, nightclub, etc and see people from all diferent races adn cultures from across teh globe. I happened to be in Georgetown and was at Starbucks and ran into a woman there who was from Mongolia. So Washington is a melting pot of diversity and can be seen on a daily basis. This weekend, I am trying to watch college... (continue reading) |
