A Mantra for you

Breath In/ Breath Out.  Every relationship and every expression of NRG and spirit can b found n this except that of God.

A God Mantra

Breath Out/ Breath In
Is It Real or Is It Memorex?

  1. For a more realistic perspective of life where you be leave the country and be a servant of the poor.
  2. For a more realistic perspective of who you be compare yourself to a Holy God and not other people. You will see that your greatest works (and those of mankind) are as filthy rags before God.
  3. For a more realistic perspective of why you be seek God, it's a life long pursuit.  This is a founding principle of faith. Those who come 2 God must believe that God is and that el Shaddai is a rewarder of those that diligtently seek him.  Word up.

Peep This:

Lots of times I'm wrong.... our secret..

Wit dat in mind find out fo yo' self.  Eternity is too important to leave up to someone else.

a contour sketch of me

born in Cleveland, Ohio.

Much of my worldview, my values, even my sense of humor has been molded by my Blackness bestowed upon me in a working class Black, urban neighborhood.  Needless to say my parents were the major influences. I blame my packrat tendencies on being raised by an Alabama, post-depression baby momma who was raised on a farm with her nine brothers and sisters. She is probably the reason I fight consumerism gone amuck and the overly me-ish, selfish, klannish influence of our society.

My fascination with mechanical things, physics, my aesthetics and how things relate to each other comes from construction worker dad and others. Much respect to Clarence Adams a neighbor and friend to my father who could not read yet held patents in the construction industry. I remember him building an electric car in his garage when I was a child. I also remember Donald B___, a kid down the street, a couple years my senior being felled by a bullet at his house party. Clayton, Crojer, Eddie and more succumbed to violent death.

I have also been molded by my whiteness, thrust on me by the Orange public school system, which readied me for my first year of socialization away from home in college. At Orange High I learned that it was not much different from where I had come but that money and things covers a multitude of sins. I discovered King Crimson, Alex Bevan, Pink Floyd and Rick Wakeman. Of course this discovery was conversant by my early years with James Brown, The Temptations, Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and Errol Garner. I saw how my world seemed broader than the worlds of others because I was a citizen of at least two distinct, seemingly diametrically opposed countries.

People that know me say I'm hard core, hard as nails, etc. Some say I'm sweet and patient, creative, artsy. Basically I intend to man up when I git and not judge much but myself. Respect people and expect respect, love God and Give where I'm able.

Now a days my relationship with Christ grows and strengthens, informing everything I peep and do. Wow! The wonder of it all. The wonder of peace, beauty, love, violence, hate, acceptance, poverty, wind, freezing cold, life, death pain. I'm so yo tiny and yet...
