Here is a one of my favorite poems that I have written entitled "BLACK WOMAN"

One whose spirit never dies
One whose strength is renewed as tears pour from her eyes
One whose womb birthed civilization
One whose sacrifices pave the way for her childrens education
One who deserves the very best and survives over all the rest
Your substance was taken from ADAMS rib
You are a part of me
You complete me in every way
Your precious love I need every day
Under appreciated and overlooked
You are my equal!
You are my companion!
You are my queen!
