Also I`ve published poems at www.poetry.com I know you will appreciate my vision.

Here's a sample:

I Keep Wondering

These days I'm forced to ponder In a world where darkness wonders questioning when the end will come To all this I keep wondering? How's the mind supposed to grasp so much evil, in a universe so vast I close my eyes to forget the past Still I keep wondering? Now comes the riddle of all riddles will god give man a final acquittal to this end the sands of time dwindle So I keep wondering?

Samuel L. James Jr.

The Shocking Truth

I keep looking for that shining light, A glare of hope which burns so bright. 'Til I find a sign from above, The truth is Heaven like a dove. I pray for inner peace with all my might; The answer I get is dark and contrite. No amount of empathy can solve my plight; The truth is like a razor cutting through night. I dream about someday taking flight, But lack of true vision prohibits clear sight. One day I will finally win this fight; The truth shockingly reveals no right.

Samuel L. James, Jr.

Into the Abyss

Into the abyss,

I look and stare.

Into the abyss, without trepidation, without fear.

Into the abyss, I glide like a bird.

Into the abyss, No cries can be heard.

Into the abyss, I fly alone and still.

Into the abyss, The darkness is very real.

Into the abyss, Emotion is so very cold.

Into the abyss, The truth will be told.

Into the abyss, Time and space stand still.

Into the abyss, The cosmic void is never

filled. Samuel L. James Jr.

Rich the Treasure, Sweet the Pleasure

Rich the treasure, Sweet the pleasure.
Her eyes gleam with anticipation
She licks her lips with desperation
Rich the treasure.

Her body reacts in orgasmic delight
The flesh screams, one more bite
Sweet the pleasure.

She moves with sexual bliss
Her skin craves a sensual kiss
Rich the treasure.

She dreams of hot repetition
But cannot find real satisfaction
Sweet the pleasure.

Samuel L. James Jr.

I Didn't Know

I keep getting hit from every

angle

trying to dodge, parry and not

get mangled.

Still I manage to maintain my

sanity,

Yet I didn't know!

You take your time falling in love. You aren`t the type to lose perspective.
You are loyal (to a fault), and you require the same loyalty in your sweetheart.
At your best, you are a wise and inspiring partner - who sticks around.

My Short Bio. I, S. L. James Jr. was born in Lackawanna, NY in 1970 to Samuel L. James Sr. @ Carbietine A. James and raised in Buffalo, NY. We lived in Albright Court projects until was I about 3 then relocated to the city in 1973. My dad worked at the Steele plant until that time then took his civil service exam and wound up with a job with NY State Department of Corrections. He held it up until 2002 when he retired from the state after 29 years of service. I attended Buffalo public schools all my life and had a rough childhood and harsh up bringing. My father would whip me with a cord usually the long type you plug into a radio, tape, cassette recorder etc. Over the most dumbest incidents like being accused of stealing his clippers or attending a Jehovah's Witness convention among others things. Plus I suffered a lot of bullying while attending junior high and some bullying in high school as well from cousins, so-called friends. White and black co-workers alike and especially black women. I had a few friends and still do to this day, however I was never a very social person. And people in those years tended to see me as a guy who'd they'd rather instigate a fight with or just get belligerent in public. Growing up in buffalo was very tough for me as an individual. It effected me academically too, the state diagnosed me at an early age for being or having a learning disability. My old man found out about it. That didn't go over too well with him and I can recall getting beat by him with a thick leather belt for not picking up my multiplication tables as fast as he wanted me too! Psychologically I was a mess. I hung out with guys twice my size or who look tougher then I did so I could get protection from the junior high school bullies. And high school was even worse. I attend a vocational school in the city called Burgard. That place was as brutal as they come. Their we're gang fights almost everyday and students just came and went whenever they wanted. They basically skipped class. I always had a talent for writing so I wanted to attend The School of Performing Arts but the old man wasn't having it. He insisted I take up a trade and work with my hands. You can guess where this going right? Auto Mechanics. I hated that damn course. I wound up taking a course in automotive vocational which means auto body/Collision and detailing cars. Graduated in 1990 a C+ student. Was never on any honor roll. Delivered papers for the Buffalo News for a few years before moving on to other jobs which included temp service like seemingly forever. I worked food service in Williamsville, NY just before leaving and relocating to Southern California in 91. That was culture shock for me and when that damn riot broke out over the acquittal of those cops I was like what the hell is this all about? And My father came from an abusive father being born the segregated south, Tuscaloosa, Al. in the 50's. You know the history. Anyway from generation to generation I've watched it repeated over and over again. If he'd could he would've hit my mom like he's father hit his mother and drove her to leave him and come up north to Buffalo, NY to get away from my grandfather. He, my old man never apologized for it and I think he will carry it to his grave with a smile. Yes, I was a nasty, low down MF like my father who was to me and you will carry on what I did to you.

Oh, oh wait I hear it coming Sam, you need to go to the lord and pray on it. LOL, lol!! Yes I'm smiling and I want to laugh my azz off. Give your pain and burden to Christ or Jehovah or Allah. Ummm hmmm

And he will relieve all your frustrations. And tell your father that their a place in heaven where he can repent, smile down at the kids he abused and the woman he wanted to physically beat down.

But did it verbally.

Yes, I've been told I have a ph'kd up family going back to my late grandfather. But you know I did this because I'm going into filmmaking and plan to put at least 80% of this on screen.

That's my way of dealing it. I don't subscribe to Dogma folks! And incase you don't know what that means?

1. Theology. A doctrine or a corpus of doctrines relating to matters such as morality and faith, set forth in an authoritative manner by a church. 2. An authoritative principle, belief, or statement of ideas or opinion, especially one considered to be absolutely true. 3. A principle or belief or a group of them.

Phuk praying!!

Zen Intuition
Score: 17 You have a direct perception of truth. You are very keen and don't use it to take advantage. When you commit positive deeds, you don't do them to get ahead, you do positive deeds simply because it makes you feel good. Your intentions are almost always meant well and all this positive karmaic energy is bound to come back to you in a great way!

by: whatblackmenthink Looks like it's the big apple for me after all and that's just the begining folks, their's much work to be done. And so many starving black acters and artists out there not getting their due. Your time is coming, i've heard the call, help is on the way!! LOL

My Short Bio Pt 2.

At present I'm preparing a urban drama based on my life growing up in the city of Buffalo. As far as my current life goes I'm returning to ECC for 1 last and final semester. Graduation for me will require that I pass Algebra and I'd rather exist with enough credit hrs to take that out to California. And into L.A. Film School or NY Film Academy with no prerequisite of having Algebra on my transcript.

Most people might consider that giving up however I'm a realist, and I'd never spend an extra two years at a two year community college racking my brain over a subject that gives me extreme difficulty. Can't do it, and won't! I was born a visual artist and the only way I can see myself realizing that is learning in a creative environment. That being Southern California. Things that peak my interest include, various ice cream, Non-fiction audio books, verious genre of films sci-fi etc, curvy, attractive women with beautiful feet and toes.

My taste in music ranges almost A-Z except for country, gangster rap, and today's Hip/Hop. I enjoy talking about world affairs, local city, county issues and national issues effecting everyone. Whether they like it or not. I have to be informed about what's happening on this planet, however I don't consider myself a interventionist or someone who wants to impose western imperial ideas (white) on the rest of the world.

I discovered in the mid to late 90's after returning from Cali that I've a gift for writing stories but I wasn't mature enough to pursue it at that time. Not without the fear of getting corrupted by that Hollywood culture. I'm ready now though with full armor and weapons of ideas to go to war with the Jewish establishment or status-quo in tinsel town. Over the following the years god willing, I intend to master the craft of filmmaking and visual story telling to educate not just the country but the world. I've numerous manuscripts to complete of fiction and non-fiction during my career. And hopefully a soul mate that can fill in those cracks, so I'm not particular about what race she is as long as we're compatible and the chemistry is dead on between us. Gloria Gaynor - I Will Survive

When it rains, it pours. Every day seems to bring more pain and hardships making your life stressful and rough. You work hard with no end in sight trying to just get by. Your rent check bounced, your dog got a tumor (it is not a tumor), and you have been eating spaghetti for 2 months straight. On top of that your boo left you after 7 LONG years! "I grew strong, I learned how to carry on...

Take this Quiz!

I was left back in the 2nd grade, failed the 5th grade and have been playing catch up ever since. I don't say this for any sympathy but it's had a profound effect on me for years. Attending failing schools, a state education system that's been dysfunctional for as long as I can remember it.

And so that's the short version, now you maybe thinking but he seems like a normal guy? Right? I'm grappling with personal demons everyday, however I'm no killer!!!! If I acted out every homicidal impulse it had well I'd be sharing a cell with Ted Bundy among other crazies.

Can Hip-hop or Rap music save Black America?

Posted

Before anyone attempts to answer that question let's think long and hard about what it's asking? Does Black America need saving and who's in a position to do it? After all we have a black man occupying the oval office for the first time in recorded history since we've called ourselves Afro- Americans or the name was given to us, however the question still remains can Hip/Hop or Rap music save Black America? Is Hip/Hop or Rap music in a position to do what professors, teachers... (continue reading)

Puppets without the Strings?

In every community across the country people are faced with choices during election time. Be it the town supervisor, county executive, city mayor, common council, state assembly, state senate, U.S. Congress, U.S. Senate, etc. We're asked as citizens to become politically active and exercise our constitutional rights at the voting both. However, the people with the real sway, the folks with major cash get all the favors or have learned how to buy votes with taxpayer dollars. So I ask are we... (continue reading)

Just a follow up to that question!!

As you all are aware this is an election year and the stakes have never been higher but we've heard this all before right? This country is a in state of crisis on all fronts and we're in even worse shape becuase when the economy goes bad we bare the brunt of everything. In tough economic times, job cuts, strained credit, global warming, i mean the list is endless folks and we get hit harder then any other ethnic group on this planet.

That question remains true, and having said that... (continue reading)
