Greetings and welcome to my little piece of the planet.

I`m sure you can see I`ve been on BP for a long time. 2 weeks after the site started to be exact. I`ve seen lots of things change here, but unfortunately some things remain the same. As with all things in life this site is what you make of it. I choose to make the most of it. I took an extended leave from BP but decided to drop over and see what's new now. I am here to meet new people and hopefully expand my horizons. Whatever happens after that - happens between mature adults and stays there. That is not to imply anything will happen at all -- nothing worth having comes that easily.

I`m not looking for a booty call, man/woman on the side, freaky outlet, undercover lover etc. I have absolutely NO desire to have a relationship with a woman - other than strictly platonic. To put it plainly I`m Strictly Dic... well you know the rest ;-)

To answer the Top 5 questions I`ve been asked:

1. What part of VA? -- Northern VA near Woodbridge. Originally from Ohio.

2. Can we get to know each other? Of course we can. Just be prepared and open to the fact that we may not want to "know" each other in the same way. And that goes both ways. I might be more interested in you than you in me or vice versa. I`m a grown up so I can handle it if the interest level isnt mutual. I expect the same in return. The worst thing that can happen is we each find a new friend. In the big scheme of things thats not so bad.

3. Are you interested in women? Again, as platonic friends - yes. Anything more - NOT A CHANCE!! I have no problem with the choices adults make. I respect your right to make your choice - please respect mine. I have no desire to be turned out or converted or to just "try it" one time. It may even be true that I dont know what I`m missing -- but thats a chance I`m prepared to take.

4. How tall are you/Do you date short men? I`m 5` 10" and I`ve been known to wear 3 inch heels - so my preference is tall men - the taller the better. But I keep an open mind. Physical attributes are important but of course they are not everything.

5. Do you date younger men? My preference is older but again, I keep an open mind. Please note - this refers to chronological age - not maturity level. Maturity is a MUST and it is not negotiable!


Top 5 "WHY" Questions that I find myself asking:

1a. Why cant some men (and I use that term loosely) move on. If we meet/interact and it doesnt work out - its not the end of the world. Life goes on. Remember, you lived many years without knowing me - I think you have at least a few more in you ;-)

1b. Why is it when you approach me I`m the greatest thing ever and you cant stop singing my praises. But if I dont return the same level of interest in you I`m everything but a child of god? Is name calling really necessary? Whatever I am when you think the world of me - I`m the same person when you are mad and dont get your way.

2. Why do I get notes telling me how interesting my page is and how you are really "feeling me", then asking me what part of Virginia I live in - eventhough its the first question answered on my frequently asked list?

3. Why do people ignore what you say and think they know whats best for you? Heterosexual means - I`m not interested in a same sex relationship/interaction. I`m a grown up so I get to make those decisions for myself.

4. Why is honesty such a difficult concept to grasp? Why cant adults behave as such?

5. Why must every introduction be reduced to a sexual quest? I understand humans are sexual beings - but there is more to life than that.

All that I ask is that you be honest - with yourself and with me.
Say what you mean and mean what you say. If you say you are ok with us just being friends - dont trip if thats all I`m offering.

I`m far from perfect but I`m the best ME that I can be. I ask that you be the best YOU that you can be. Everything else will fall into place.
