You cannot fight by being on the outside complaining and whining. You have to get on the inside to be able to assess their strengths and weaknesses and then move in.

Outward appearances are often deceiving. We might look at a company, for example, and view it as a supremely productive monolith. When we step inside and become part of the organization, however, we might be amazed to note its chaos.

We must strive to get inside the door more often--in government, in business, in all sorts of endeavors and organizations--in order to advance. We might learn that it`s often more a person`s will than their ability that enables them to succeed.

Try this:
On this day, take five minutes to reflect on an obstacle that you might encounter in accomplishing your goal. Then come up with at least one way around or through that obstacle

What are you willing to do to be happy? What risks or chances will you take?

For 21 years I have lived in BEAUTIFUL San Diego, CA. No dis to anyone who lives anywhere else but, SD is nice. P-e-r-f-e-c-t weather, beautiful sunsets, mountains, beaches, diverse cultures and ethnicities, mexican food, smooth jazz, nice city.

Last July, I had to go home to St. Louis, MO for a visit. My grandmother died and for the 4th time in 21 years, I was in the Lou. Anyway, got there, lost my... (continue reading)
