Most you can`t see because you don`t know what a good "BLACK MAN" really looks like. I`m usually not flashy enough or rich enough to turns heads. I may not wear designer suits or push a Lexus. I might not have a body like Tyson or a face like Denzel...but as "you" mature, you will realize it`s better to find someone who`s got your back than someone who turn your head. I may not agree wholeheartedly with everything you say. I don`t just tell you what you want to hear and do the opposite. I don`t declare to you how sensitive, sweet, caring, sincere, yada-dada I am (because I don`t have to, it always shows). I have my own opinions and your may clash, but I don`t have to degrade you to prove I`m right. Yes. I can even admit when I`m being wrong, especially if you are willing to do the same. I`m a "GOOD BALCK MAN" that is not going to meet every item on your checklist. Noting again, I am human with frailties and faults mixed in with all of my wonderful, strong attributes. I as a "GOOD BLACK MAN" need you love and respect. I need to feel that you don`t live to catch me doing somethingwrong, so you can declare...AHA!!!!! I always knew you were a dog!!! This "GOOD BLACK MAN" isn`t insecure about his woman having great achievements. In fact, I am your number one supporter and will become disappointed with you when you begin to lose yourself, for the sake of "not hurting my feelings" or you just want to make me happy. My happiness will come with seeing you excel in your dreams and accomplishing your goals. For as you excel and is exalted, as a "GOOD BLACK WOMAN", Ipray that you will bring this "GOOD BLACKMAN" right along with you. I will not necessarily give you a huge birthday, Mother`s Day or Valentine`s gift...due to I will show my love in the way that is comfortable for me. So don`t judge me by TV or media standards.
