Hello and Welcome!

Thanks for stopping by. All visitors are welcome, please feel free to sign my guestbook and/or drop a note. I am originally from New York (Cambria Heights, Queens) and now reside in Virginia Beach, VA. I enjoy reading, nice longs walks on the beach, sitting back looking at the stars, drives out in the country, poetry, playing spades, and stimulating conversation. Most of all I enjoy spending time with my heart, my son. I try to surround myself with positive people as much as possible. Life is too short, with too many obstacles, to deal with unnecessary negativity. I hope all is well with you. If not, always remember that "He" never gives you more than you can handle. HERE I AM AGAIN

Here I am again trapped

in a deep abyss of stress

FOR WHAT? Caring and doing

what I thought was best

I was forced into a corner,

now fighting my way out

WHY? Because I trusted with

my guard down - no doubt

It`s not easy repairing

what someone else has destroyed

THE RESULT? An empty feeling,

a deep, dark, cold, void<BR

All I do is fight harder,

keep going and moving on

KNOW WHY? What once was true

love has evaporated, it`s gone

I won`t blame others to remove

some of the weight off my chest

BECAUSE? I thought with my heart,

when my mind knew best

It`s gonna be tough to maintain

both myself and my seed

BUT WHAT? No buts! I do what I

have to - in order to succeed

I`m a trooper, I`m down for a

minute, but life does go on

AND NOW? Look to the future

with my head up - gotta stay strong

This is only one of few obstacles

in this game called life

HERE ON IN? Keep my eyes open,

and all else remains tight

Two good things came out of

this escapade that I endured

WHAT? A son I love dearly -

with all my heart he`s adored

The second was crucial,

and worth much further ado

FINALLY? I got rid of the

old to make room the new!!!

WHEN I THINK OF YOU

When I think of you I can`t

help but smile right away

Wondering what you`re doing

every minute, of every day

Everything I see I can

relate in connection with you

From the most complex machinery

to the very minute

Anxiously awaiting your call -

wanting to hear how you are

You`re my sun, you`re my moon,

my planet, my precious star

Wanting you to feel me

intellectually with the utmost intensity

Wanting to hold you tight yet

gently, with everlasting ecstasy

Hoping you`ll always be patient

in trying to understand me

Like anyone else, I have my issues,

but never wish any harm to be

Let us let down our guards for in

our world only we exist

There`ll be plenty of love, respect,

admiration, no need to resist

There is a lesson to be learned

in each of our unfortunate sorrows

Each lesson today, teaches us of

how to deal with our tomorrows

Had any of our lessons not taken

place, we may never have met

How unfortunate that would have been...

for my heart may have bled to death
