JJ, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio quickly decided that radio was her passion at an early age! After attending Clark Atlanta University, JJ started her career at WROU-FM in Dayton, where she produced the morning show and held down a weekend shift, before moving on to WIZF-FM in her hometown of Cincinnati. February 2001 brought on a new challenge, as she packed her bags and headphones, and moved to New York City, landing the evening position at New York's legendary WBLS-FM, after a 2-month hiatus from radio, before coming to Hot 96.3 in November of 2002. When JJ is not rocking the mic or out hitting the streets to connect with her listeners she spends her free time boxing and keeps up on the latest Hip-Hop news.
JJ is very active in the community, fighting for AIDS awareness and teen pregnancy prevention. Throughout the course of her career, JJ has always managed to stay focused and well grounded. She's always looking for ways of self-improvement and new career paths.
She is only at the tip of the iceberg of her career. JJ is married to C-Hustle and has a lovely baby girl Alani.
