True love evades those who are rooted in selfishness; who approach relationships looking to see how it can benefit them and what they can obtain from it, instead of what they can add to it. True love is never freely given, it is earned with fearless commitment, faith, sacrifice and dedication to the relationship. Love can not be purchased with superficial trinkets, such as beauty, sexual prowess, tattoos or body piercings. These things do nothing but invoke lustful desires in men and lust is fleeting--here today and gone tomorrow; however, true love is eternal.

Potential partners should be judged by the fruit they bear, the way they treat others when their is nothing to gain, values, morals and their relationship with God. A person consumed with self pride and vanity is incapable of offering true love, for they will always put themselves before others.

A good man is a strong leader who dedicates his life to providing a better one for his family. He is wise in his ways because he realizes every choice he makes will have an impact on his love ones. He is led by his conscious, loves righteousness and hates evil. He receives more pleasure from giving than he does receiving. He is protective, caring, affectionate, loyal, honest, a great listener, slow to anger and true to his word.
