SUMMARY
The candidate will develop software for Midmark s diagnostics products in conformance with the product development requirements, the new product development process, and FDA and other regulatory standards. The candidate will focus on our connectivity solutions but will also be involved in algorithm development, software testing, documentation, defect reporting, and product sustaining functions. For the right candidate, the job will also include project leadership and management assignments of a small team of software developers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and develop .Net-based web and desktop applications, Services, and SDKs for medical devices using tools like Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, and other tools
Design and develop secure web applications to integrate with our current suite of applications and Electronic Medical Record partners
Lead and facilitate design sessions and code walk-throughs
Translate high-level requirements into detailed designs
Develop and maintain thorough technical documentation
Provide technical estimates
Perform thorough unit testing and some functional testing as needed
Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies
Participate in troubleshooting customer issues and addressing customer complaints as required
Familiarity with the SDLC, and must be comfortable in all stages from analysis to testing
Experience working in a regulatory environment, especially FDA regulated development

C#.NET 2.0 and above
ASP.NET

Object Oriented Development
Applied knowledge of SQL Server and proficiency with relational database technology including schema design, stored procedure development, and SQL queries
Experience building WPF applications
Experience building RESTful web services
Experience with source control systems like TFS, Source Safe, CVS, or SVN
Knowledge of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and Windows Presentation Foundation(WPF)
