To extend our team we are searching for a: Global Accounts Manager
Based in Farmington Hills, MI office
Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets as agreed with management. Leads team efforts to develop, implement and manage a strategy for maximizing the revenue and profitability of assigned Strategic Accounts . Manages sales opportunities and builds strong business consulting relationships with C-level. Ensures global alignment of internal resources, including Pre-Sales Support, Services, and global sales team.Position requires strong analytical skills in the evaluation and preparation of value related to sales opportunities. Organizes and manages special needs and drives issues to resolution for assignedaccounts.
Areas of Responsibility:
Manage software and services revenue forecast for accounts and is responsible for its accuracy in reporting. Alert management to potential shortfalls. Work with the consulting and sales teams to help overcome shortfalls.
Maintain the sales funnel to ensure visibility of qualified opportunities within the Developing Accounts segment.
Conduct client meetings to discuss business issues and strategies and develop long term engagement plans with clients.
Responsible for all proposals and negotiate acceptance and terms associated to the proposal and timelines.
Development of marketing and campaign plans and coordinate all sales related activities within the segment.
Orchestration of internal resources ie; support, professional services, pre-sales, R&D etc to ensure successful client projects.
Bachelor's degree in business, or related degree
5+ years of Sales experience in products or services
Proven Sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability and excellent communication skills.
Sound product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at all levels (including C level) and translate client needs into a complete solution.
Experience selling to an automotive tier 1 supplier
