Job Description:

A .Net Developer is needed in Lake Mary for a 3 month contract! This programming position includes designing, programming, testing and maintaining existing and new company web sites.

The responsibilities of this position include the following:

Gathers feedback from design and technical staff on Web site development needs
Builds web-based applications and back-end databases using predominantly ASP.NET (VB.NET)
Assists in project planning and Web site design/development
Creates prototypes and functional specifications for software projects
Creates technical methodologies for engineering solutions to Web-based development problems
Conceptualizes long-term needs of Web development
Plan and maintains projects with limited supervision
Makes suggestions on creating Web-based technical standards for specific Web sites and the company as a whole
Other duties may be assigned



Candidates must be an experienced programmer with excellent verbal and written communication skills, comfortable with tight time lines, and the ability to multi-task and work with various departments. Candidates must also be familiar with the entire code development cycle and have a minimum of 3 years of experience with ASP.NET (VB.NET), SQL Server, ASP and client side scripting. The applicant must have a strong working experience with ASP.NET.
