Mechanical Engineer - HVAC Mechanical Systems This position is for a mechanical systems engineer responsible for performing engineering evaluation of facility HVAC mechanical systems.  Site-wide systems include chilled water systems, direct expansion systems, split systems, package units, and associated control systems (e.g., program logic controls and back net protocol).  Responsibilities include understanding system configuration,   maintenance of system information management, and the development of HVAC system design standards.   Also included is the performance of system inspections, developing preventative maintenance procedures and corrective maintenance work documents. Position entails support of short and long range facility planning providing technical recommendations and cost estimates.  Will interface with multiple parties including staff, customer, procurement, architect engineering firms, Site Operations & Maintenance personnel, subcontract personnel, and compliance personnel. Selected applicants will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter. Job Requirements:BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or  Marine Engineering with minimum 5 years related work experience in mechanical systems and facilities engineering. Applicants must have prior work experience in HVAC design/analysis and construction subcontract development for office buildings and industrial facilities.
