Services are specialized to help clients mitigate risks across an overall risk spectrum. We are currently seeking a Manager, Forensic to join us in our San Francisco office. KPMG ForensicSM assists organizations in their efforts to achieve the highest level of business integrity through the detection, prevention and investigation of fraud and misconduct. Our Forensic professionals strive to not only help our clients discover the facts underlying concerns about fraud and misconduct, but also assist clients in assessing their vulnerabilities to such activities, and in developing controls and programs to address these risks. Responsibilities: • Develop and perform financial, accounting, economic, and statistical analyses • Analyze and interpret historical financial, operational, and transactional data • Calculate damages in commercial disputes matters based on forensic review of accounting and financial records • Perform financial statement analysis and develop conclusions • Summarize, analyze, and prepare reports and findings in a clear, logical and concise manner • Interact with, and interview, clients and other external sources for the purpose of obtaining relevant information and documents • Lead teams and project manage Qualifications: • Five years of experience in financial/data analysis, accounting, and/or disputes/litigation • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related degree from an accredited college/university • Financial investigative experience • Advanced understanding in one of the following: complex accounting transactions, the U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), corporate filings or financial statements, or economic damages analysis • An understanding of the legal and regulatory environment • Able to produce grammatically correct written technical reports • Able to effectively manage multiple engagements • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Able to handle a moderate to extensive level of travel KPMG offers and supports flexible work arrangements as well as part-time schedules.
