The System earned this prestigious award for demonstrating "a creative and forward-looking approach" in meeting the needs of employees - specifically through the innovative services and programs implemented through the SBHCS Employee Initiative. This is a tremendous achievement, as NJBIA is the nation`s largest statewide employer association, representing 18,000 organizations. For years, the SBHCS has been dedicated to developing innovative programs and services aimed at balancing the professional and personal lives of employees - a commitment that has been further strengthened through the Employee Initiative. The Employee Initiative has solidified the Saint Barnabas Health Care System`s position as the health care employer of choice in New Jersey. The Outstanding Employer Award from the NJBIA further validates this designation.
