Being that time keeps on ticking

I see you everyday and by your persistence I see your struggle.
Even with your head above water someone is knocking your hustle.
Your speech is strong and there's confidence in your stride.
Love in your heart and power in your eyes.
Your personality shows through your smile like the sun through the clouds.
Your voice alone inspires me to sing out loud,
As I see you now I'm frantic and panic is not an option.
I'm delighted, nah I'm excited about this intoxin.
Because of what I see this is how you make me feel,
I'm proud to be an African American man.
You make me weak in the knees when you speak to me.
And I'm caught up in that moment carelessly.
So many I'm overwhelmed by the variety.
From, The darker the berry the sweeter the JOOSE.
To my golden, and redbone sistas with freckles!
If I didn' say it I'm digging you too if you're on this level.
I love your lips, hips, and thighs especially when you're beside me.
I appreciate every curve on your body,
Without injection you pass every visual inspection.
I'm not trying to be rude but you are what inspire men to have an erection.
When it comes to the African American Woman I'm flawed,
I look at you every time as if you are the most beautiful Being I ever saw.
Your strength is not recognized by others and sometimes yourself.
If you have to take the blows of the world believe in God before anyone else.
