  Upcoming Events by Eventful Bio Jus k, known at birth as Kevin Nelson, is from Vandeveer Houses Brooklyn, NY, It is time for people to hear his story, his life, and his struggle. Sometimes it's hard for him to be him, but, everything in life is a lesson, an experience. At one time he was feeling cursed for everything wrongfully committed by his Pops. Jus being homeless had him destined to give up and end it all, but, he fought it, because he is a fighter and a survivor, ending it would have been the easy way out. A master in art of story telling is not Jus k. He is the story! His story will be experienced in his lyrics, if you get past his production. He is the proud son of Ms. Shirley Smith in BK, NY. Jus K was raised in a family of talented performers, and attended The New York City Performing Arts Underground. The Subway! Hustlin from the young age of 16 has given him the experience to open for talented acts known as, Olivia, Allure, and Jimmy Cozier during 2001 in NYC. During a (3) three year period of honing his skill, developing as a product, and relocating to North Carolina. Jus k continued achieving opening act opportunities in 2006 for Jagged Edge at Studio 74, Urban Mystic at The Breakfast Club, T.I. at The Cricket Arena (15,000 capacity), Rich Boy at Studio 74, and followed by Blast from The Past at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre for Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rich, Dana Dane, Kurtis Blow, Yo-Yo, and more in front of thousands. His most recent accomplishments for 2007 include opening for Joe in Fayetteville, NC and a College Tour Performance with Power 98 WPEG promoting AIDS Awareness. Jus k, a.k.a The Triple Threat has produced the following original songs, Thugs in Love, and Shorty, from his first extended play title- Brick Music. Production from the very same songs were used for- Destiny's Child (If), Lloyd Banks (Karma) feat. Avant, and one of Cam'rons latest tracks. With the new extended play now released on the streets, including the smash single "Special". Jus has to prepare himself for all that is sure to follow with the exceptional reception of his release, buzz, and demand of his live performance. The ballad "Special" is currently being supported by Power 98/Charlotte, Power 95.5/Rocky Mt, and Foxy 99 The Big Stick/Fayetteville, NC. As a result of the demand for "Special", availability has been made through Manifest Records and EZ Records at Eastland Mall (Charlotte, NC), EZ Records (Gastonia, NC), Westgate Mall (Spartanburg, NC), Record Cellar (Rockhill, S.C.), and CD Baby. All outlets constantly experience sell outs, with incredible warmth from the Japanese Market.    Citing, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, David Ruffin, Mint Condition, and Bobby Brown on this list of favorite entertainers, Jus k's style invokes a nostalgic feeling, a throwback to the voices surrounding a garbage can set a fire on a cold winter day. A style, "he confesses", as raw soul, voice of the ghetto, Raw & B. Jus k will take the music industry in the earned way of his opening act ability, SECOND TO NONE, as he graces and challenges music with his "Triple Threat" ability, and powerful show stealing live performance.
