If you are in KC, I invite you to visit Sufficient Grace Church. SGC is a two year old church family that is completing the transitioning from being a "milk" church to being a "meat" church. [In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! (Hebrews 5:12)]. As a "meat" church, we are able to exercise "real life application" of the Word and to be bold and mature in that word, being able to exemplify holiness and Godly standards. There are requirements and promises that we must understand and adhere to if we are going to successfully pursue God's purpose for our lives.
SGC is not church as usual (Our coming site is notchurchasusual.com). We are committed to "whole man" ministry. From thorough Biblical teaching to youth services, physical fitness to employment training, family services to buying groceries; we understand that there is more to church, as it was intended, than having "church service". We believe the church must get back to being the multifaceted community resource that it used to be in times past while resisting the Pharisee-like tendency to promote tradition above the needs of the people. People often need help, in a multiplicity of ways, getting from where they are to where they need to be.
As we are in search of a permanent building, our Sunday services are held at 3114 Paseo. For those of you familiar with Kansas City, that is the former home of New Landmark Church. While at this location, service begins at 1 PM. Sunday school starts at noon. Come expecting a blessing! We look forward to seeing you soon.
