I have given up the long laundry list of "things I want in a man"
I've traded in my Tall, Dark and Handsome prerequisite because it's superficial.
I may not be anyone's ideal, but what I do have to offer and what I can contribute to is more than sufficient.
I am intelligent, I am interesting, I have a sense of humor, I am far from perfect, no one is perfect. But I'm pretty happy with me it's taken me 44 yrs to appreciate all that I am and I'm good.

When my child was suffering

I dropped to my knees

and I prayed for God's comforting

I forgave him when he lied

Though it still hurts my pride

I have the utmost respect for those who can speak their mind

At somepoint in life you may have to be cruel to be kind.

Life is too short for flowery dissertations, or verbose debate.

So I thank you so much for setting me straight.
