I`m coming from Big `D`. Been @ from coast to coast, but as they say, there`s no place like home.

A little about me:
I'm an amateur writer working on a book. I also do some poetry (doesn't everyone nowwadays?). I love life and live every minute to the fullest. 2 near death experiences have that effect on a person. Avid gamer, reader, movie watcher, music buff, etc. Pretty much into anything that can hold my attention but I work to make anything I do enjoyable. Always looking to expand my mind through knowledge of others and self experience.

Just a personal observation I'd like to share that i have noticed. There are a lot of single people out there who seem to have a hard time with relationships. Now, I've learned to over time that you really can judge a person not so much by the company they keep but what the company thinks of them and the way they respond to them. Now, herein is the observation. These people who are single and can't seem to make a relationship work are usually the ones who say I don't have in real or close friends, just mainly associates.

My question is this, if you can't commit to a friendship, how can you ever commit to a relationship? It takes less work to keep a friend. You don't have to see them every day. You don't have to deal with their bad habits all the time. You don't even have to be bothered with in-laws. Friends are family God allows us to choose. How can you expect to deal with someone all the time when you can't deal with one or two people sometimes? Yes, friends can be needy, get on your nerves, get in your busines, and be triffling but so is the family you were born into and most of us still deal with them. And once again you can choose your friends. Just a personal obervation again I say.






And remember, make today actions, tomorrow's memories. not regrets.(WINK!)



It burns high, higher as the moments pass
Shimmering light that dances on everything around me
Even more brilliant now than when the spark was first ignited
But, even with the intensity growing, a problem emerges
A chill rushes through me, sliding down my spine
I reach out to the flame as the warmth starts to elude me
When I move closer, no help does it give
I throw on more kindling and watch as the flame rises
So why is it I continue to get only colder
I see everything so clearly as the light is so bright
But I can't seem to get any heat to come forth
In the end I've finally found a way to feel the fire
But it wasn't as I'd hoped or as I had planned
Because when I jumped in, in the end, I was burned


Beautiful is she who delivers the midnight sun

Loving is she, the water bearer, bringing forth the fluid of life

Amazing is she who accepts the blessing

Caring is she that gives the gift of lightning

Kind is she who leaves a lasting harmony



In reflection, you would know her and realize that she is One

Only one lady is she

Special in her being and how she gives

Never to be taken for granted.

Released are you who have been graced by her

Gaia, Eve, Aphrodite are her and never her pleasures to be denied

In giving her desires met and 200 for 1 she returns

My love to thee for loving me

Just a question, what year is it? Women on hear ask why men are on here when they have a wif. their wife should be their friend. What crazy microcosm do you live in that you only associate with one person of the opposite sex for th rest of your life? who's even aying a person is just talking to woman? A perosn couldbe networking or talking guy talk with other fellows. Maybe I'm just wierd to still want to expand my life by meeting and making friends of new and different people.
