Dr. Umar Johnson returned to the country  the summer and went mainstream, as he was interviewed on The Breakfast Club (Status Update, Sept. 1). The certified school psychologist of course is raising $2 million USD to buy property in Virginia to house the FDMG Academy. The Federick Douglas &: Marcus Garvey Academy is the brainchild of Dr. Umar, a former principal and kinsman to Frederick Douglas, to educate our Black boys from K-12 with applicable scholastics, trade skills, investment acumen, defense training, an entrepreneurial outlook, and so forth, needed in the community. He's raised $600,000 between, checks and money orders as of Oct. 2015. Click the picture to watch the interview, and donate to gofundme.com/drumar.
