I've been hearing about Blackplanet for the longest, and finally decided to take the plunge. I'm really behind the curve on a lot of this internet/personal page stuff, but am really trying to catch up.
Well, that segues right into why choose the name Latebloomer? Abig part of it as I mentioned above is getting more involved in this digital age, and also reflecting my mental state. Even at my age, I feel as if I'm just opening up to thoughts, feelings, new career opportunities, and life for the first time, hence the name Latebloomer. Am ready to open myself up to new things and experiences.
Have pretty much been a loner most of my life, but need to get out of my comfort zone and broaden my horizons. I'm hoping that by establishing this page, it will help expose me to new and interesting people, as I am looking to meet and make new friends.
One area in particular I hope to develop more is my personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Sometimes I feel like it's not happening, but I have to remember that this walk is by faith, and not by emotions.
