The username I chose is a variation of the name Isis. It`s the name of an Egytian goddess (also called ast) who was very clever, like me. *smile* I'm a student at the art intstitute in chicago, and I'm going for digital media production (makin movies). Life is my passion, now is the essence of my domain, so look around and sign my page.

Tarot Card

I speak first in riddles
and then the rest in prose
leaving the possibility open
while the door is closed
asking the answer to an enigma
of which no one knows
a paradox like silken skin
beneath tattered clothes

closed eyes that see
hard roads on a journey
to a place where I am free

Finally Over

I hope that you are happy

Waiting for Adonis

At night, sometimes when I am alone
weary in my cold bed, waiting
for my adonis to find me
here alone and for the taking
alas adonis hasn't come yet
only idiots and fools at my door
call me B!TCH but I can't let them in
no matter how much they implore
for me to open the doors to heaven
just to be ravaged and turned to hell
so I lay alone to wait for adonis
retrace my own self whom I know so well
like, damn I am still a woman
I still came and felt my own self so sweet
Adonis if you come tonight wake me
for now I drift off to sleep



Ironic Woman

ironic, born in a warm winter i have cold hands
halfway here, when I feel broken I stand
backwards, I was dying while being born
I'm here and in the spirit world my soul is torn
but torn is not broken but only twisted
I spread myself thin to make me gifted
I see I flee from what I see here
weak sh!t, dumb b!tch smile nod and drink beer
who is I but what are you, I'm high now
I read holy books and plant my seeds wit a plow
but what do I cultivate in my own mind
the world around me reflects what I find
I ponder at times on what I manifest
Midas is me so I manifest bless
I draw my own crest, my back faces west
so I can see the rising sun in the wake of any test
or tribulation, call me phoenix, for I am born of fire
what makes others turn to dust just takes me higher
so I slip into another state, I am trancendental
I see complex equations and solve like simple
knave h0es breeze in and I pop like pimples
cause they ask for worship in burnt out temples

Le Fou

Gaily I used to wind in and out of plots
weary travellers marveled at my wit
jester I may be, but fool am I none
That description just wouldn't fit

Blind, so he liked touching
with vision fine he still couldn't see me
I say love-loathe me despise me hate

So mock me I am a jester
an illusion concealing glory
and now as I shed costumes away
the fool has exited the story.

For all those who are interested in natural healing, check out the young living essential oils link. Young Living was founded by Dr. Gary Young. They have a variety of pure theraputic grade essential oils, organic vitamins and supplements. Any ailment or disease you can suffer from can be healed with a natural cure. I know it sounds like a load of crap but it's true! All medicine is synthesised from a natural substance. Even asprin is made from the same active chemical is found in the bark of willow trees. People used to boil the bark, and drink the water it was boiled in to get the same effect as taking an asprin. (before asprin came about of course) Heres a couple little known facts about essential oils:

* Peppermint oil can be used to aid in digestion, is antiviral, antifungal and antibacterial, can be used to rub on tired muscles,or dropped on the tounge to supress appetite, and to increase energy.

* Clove oil has the highest ORAC rating for it's content of antioxidants, which help your body fight free radicals and disease. Is an immune system enhancer.

*Clary Sage oil contains natural plant estrogens and helps during PMS and during menopause. It also supports the body in maintaining healthy digestive and circulatory system functions.


How To Make an Organic Cooling Skin Lotion
Most people, who aren?t amazingly lucky, want clearer, healthier skin. Well here?s a simple way to make a face lotion that actually heals and nourishes your skin. Don?t worry, you don?t need to be a chemist, you only need to know how to count, measure and pour. You?ll need 5ml of lavender essential oil, 15 drops of melaluca alternifolia (tea tree) essential oil, 25 drops of eucalyptus radiata essential oil, and finally 5ml of roman chamomile essential oil. It is best to use 100 percent therapeutic grade essential oils, which can be purchased online. You will also need a spoon, a small (preferably) glass bottle with a lid, a small sized funnel, and a small ceramic bowl to mix the oils in.
First you will need to clean your glass, lid, funnel, and bowl very thoroughly and dry them. Measure 5ml of lavender essential oil, and pour it into your mixing bowl. After that add the 5ml of roman chamomile oil, and stir together. Next use your funnel to pour those oils into your glass bottle. Add the 15 drops of tea tree oil, and the 25 drops of eucalyptus radiata oil directly to the bottle. After adding the last two oils, screw the lid on the bottle and shake vigorously. You?re done, and wasn?t that easy?
Now you have a purely organic lotion that will clear up acne and keep your skin looking radiantly beautiful. Lavender oil can be used to clean cuts and scrapes, to help burns heal faster, and can even be taken internally as a dietary supplement. Chamomile has a soothing apple-like scent, and is soothing and calming to the skin. Tea tree oil fights acne, is also antiseptic and antifungal, and helps clear rashes. Eucalyptus radiata oil has a cooling effect on the skin and also fights acne. Quite a few of the chemicals found in facial soaps and products have been found to cause cancer in lab rats and dry out the skin. This easy to make lotion is a way to skip the harmful chemicals to have clearer, more beautiful skin.
