<> Oh yeah! Don`t forget to hit up my guestbook! <>
I`m originally from Philly one of the hottest cities in the US! Currently I`m in upstate NY trying to get my study on.
My interest include dancing I love to dance and I love music. I also like to read although I don`t get time to do that often...if u know of any good books send me a note. I love to spend time with my family...it`s like a regular comedy show (drama the right way!) I also like to bug out wit my girls...some of which are on here(GAPEACH79,ms_cheeks,,mama sita, greend2,whoswho01).
Check the poetry at the bottom!
On to the regularly scheduled events:
The music I`m feeling now: Eve beacuse PHILLY, PHILLY is where I`m from!
Books I`d recommend: No Disrespect- Sister Souljah, Lil Mamma`s Rules, Men Cry in the Dark
The funniest movie I`ve seen recently: The Bestman
Some nicknames I`ve been called: Little Girl or LannaBanna
A quote I like: "No matter what you can see, there is always more." - Dennis Kembro
Some of my heroes: My Mom & Dad.
A recent accomplishment I am proud of: I have been blessed with so many things I can`t think of only one.
An embarrassing moment I`d rather forget: ... I`ll get back to that.
One reason my friends like me: Because I am very caring and straight forward.

Lover Man (Oh, Where Can You Be?)
as sung by Billie Holliday
The night is cold and I`m so alone
I`d give my soul just to call you my own
Got a moon above me
But no one to love me
Lover man, oh, where can you be?
I`ve heard it said
That the thrill of romance
Can be like a heavenly dream
I go to bed with a prayer
That you`ll make love to me
Strange as it seems
Someday we`ll meet
And you`ll dry all my tears
Then whisper sweet
Little things in my ear
Hugging and a-kissing
Oh, what I`ve been missing
Lover man, oh, where can you be?
Still I Rise
You may write me down in history
With your bitter, twisted lies,
You may trod me in the very dirt
But still, like dust, I`ll rise.
Does my sassiness upset you?
Why are you beset with gloom?
`Cause I walk like I`ve got oil wells
Pumping in my living room.
Just like moons and like suns,
With the certainty of tides,
Just like hopes springing high,
Still I`ll rise
Did you want to see me broken?
Bowed head and lowered eyes?
Shoulders falling down like teardrops,
Weakened by soulful cries.
Does my haughtiness offend you?
Don`t you take it awful hard
`Cause I laugh like I`ve got gold mines
Diggin` in my own back yard.
You may shoot me with your words,
You may cut me with your eyes,
You may kill me with your hatefulness,
But still, like air, I`ll rise.
Does my sexiness upset you?
Does it come as a surprise
That I dance like I`ve got diamonds
At the meeting of my thighs
Out of the huts of history`s shame
Up from a past thats rooted in pain
I`m a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling I bear in the tide.
Leaving behind nights of terror and fear
Into a daybreak that`s wondrously clear
Bringing the gifts that my ancestors gave,
I am the dream and the hope of the slave.
