MyHotComments IF ONLY YOU'LL HAVE ME If only you'll have me, you'll arrive at the following evaluation You'll see that I would vow to protect your good name and reputation No matter where I might find myself in life or location Always encouraging your election and calling, and applauding your vocation The space in my life I'll have for you will be one of honor and rectitude Esteem, integrity ... and the utmost in fortitude But the only way for you to know for sure, you have to make this a must see As I do the right thing even when you're not looking, giving you every reason to trust me I want the opportunity to show you faithfulness all of which opposes slander I want the chance to engage you as you engage me in conversational candor To accent each others strengths and to shore up each others weaknesses To walk in each others likeness and appreciate each others uniqueness Allow me to show you the truth of me, as truth is longevity Give me the opportunity to prove to you my character and integrity I promise to be every bit of man for you that I can be I promise to be your object of fidelity ⿦ if only you'll have me If only you'll have me I promise to share your conceptions Your outlook, your tenets and beliefs, your rationale and perceptions To bring about in each other a inherent potential to be evoked To walk together side be side, and hand by hand, and stand together equally yoked To be graced while in the propinquity of the Kings daughter I want to stand together with you, like two trees planted by the rivers or water That will ultimately ⿦ bear their fruit, in their season And be to each other, one an-other's rhyme and one an-other's reason To be regaled by a princess would be an honor and a privilege Cordial company and congeniality ⿦ all with a civil edge Just to sit and talk with you ⿦ to listen to your oration Makes me want to bow to you, because I consider your presence an ovation With a pure heart I want to love the 'you' that I've come to know With pure thoughts, I'd like ⿿ through my intentions ⿿ come to show With all of the principles and convictions that reach out and grab me I want to be your helpmate ⿦ if only you'll have me If only you'll have me that alone would make my heart sing I'd wear the pride, dignity and esteem like a coveted gold ring Of having you by my side ⿦ signaling an auspicious omen Because the saying is true, besides every great man ⿦ is a great woman You'd be the oxygen in the air that I breathe You'd be the wet in my water, and the arm in my sleeve You'd be the comforts of my consolation and the remedies of my relief You'd be the hopes of my aspiration and the convictions of my belief You'd be the thread in my fabric and the shine in my sun You'd be the seconds in my minute and the o-n-e in my one You'd be the one that I cherish beyond an affirming nod Second ⿦ of course ⿦ to Almighty God I'll admit to feeling a little less than alone when we're apart, at a given instance I'd feel a little less than lost if you weren't in my existence I'd feel the handicap of a partially blind man who can half see I'd love for you to be the sight in my vision ⿦ if only you'll have me If only you'll have me I promise to be more of the person that you know and love Kind, courteous, compassionate, encouraging ⿦ by and large, all of the above To see you as you, as I have seen you ⿦ since the beginning The words you speak that have me thinking, and your smile that has me grinning I do realize that I'm putting myself out there in this manifesto of sorts Not knowing your reaction to these words ⿦ your response or resolve and resort And thinking to myself of the best 'worse case' scenario that can be founded in fact If your answer is to friendship, and friendship only ⿦ I'd be fine with that However, if your reaction and answer is as I hope it will be As I wait with anticipation ⿦ and breathe ever so still y I will see sunshine and moonlight in a very different way All colored with a new excitement ⿦ spurred by the words you have to say Whatever you decide, to whatever bound ⿦ or to whatever ends Whether it be a move to matrimonial commitments, or to that of lifelong friends I will love you with an honest love that's calciferous like salt, yet sweet like candy I want to love you with forthright affections ⿦ if only you'll have me
