First of all let me explain a little about the word Islam: 1- What does Islam mean? Islam is an Arabic word meaning submission,surrender,and obedience. As a religion Islam stands for complete subission and obedience to God. 2- Iman, what does Iman mean? Iman is an Arabic word meaning -Faith, to know, to believe, and to be convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt in the oneness of God. 3- Allahu akbar This means God is the Greatest. ALHAMDU LIL-LAHI ... ( PRAISE BE TO GOD) I know this is not much, but it is a start. Each and ever day I strive harder and harder to become closer to God.
